Adorable! My daughter lives across the street from a pond, and they’ve had ducks lay eggs in their front yard bushes and then have to walk back and forth across the street to get to the water. Quite a process, and she worried about them:)
Yikes! That would be very stressful to witness the ducks crossing the street to reach the pond and again to get back to the nest. I’m grateful my duckling sighting was angst-free.
They are exceedingly cute. Would love to rub my nose in their little ducky down.

Yes, it was! One year a predator got into the eggs before they hatched, too, which was sad.
