I’m exhausted. I’ve got mud in my eyes and aches in my bones from sitting so much this past month. Worst of all, my ending isn’t coming together as envisioned. Time to create a new vision in preparation for next month’s revision.

You’re a hero for slogging it out, Tracy! Don’t worry about the ending. I often hit that point and despair, but usually the answer is in the writing, and you’ll see it when you revise.

Oh, this was such a nice message to get! Yesterday I rushed my ending because I needed to be done with the draft. And while my brain told me it would be okay, that the right and true ending would come to me in revision, I still felt some anxiety about ending so abruptly. I very much appreciate you confirming my more rational thoughts!
