No internet connection. No ugly, horrific news. Just a calm and peaceful corner of the world. I wish that for everyone. Every day.

My place of employment was surrounded by office buildings. I couldn’t imagine a lunch break in a place like this.

I wasn’t employed while taking that break. No paycheck for hiking. Still, I’d probably pay for that view and the disconnect from the “real” world.
