How to join the #TeslaTakedown movement

I’m momentarily setting down my roll of packing tape in order to create a quick post about a growing movement: Tesla Takedown which employs the same Boycott, Divest, Sanctions tactics used to end apartheid in South Africa. Remember, Elon Musk is from South Africa, so it’s especially fitting to use those same tactics to stop his techno-coup here in the U.S.!

UPDATE on 2.27.25: The day after Trump’s inauguration, Tesla stock was $424.07 per share. Today? Tesla stock closed at $281.95 per share.

  2. The (falsely named) MAGA “movement “ has derived its political power from Trump’s ability to sucker millions of Americans using lies to create FEAR…fear of immigrants, fear of minorities, fear of LGBT people, fear of being replaced (if you’re a white male), etc.

    • correct… Trump’s power is based on fear. Democrats are failing to use the legitimate fear of living under a brutal dictatorship. Trump and musk have demonstrated that they are ruthless. Hitler was ruthless. Trump has replaced our generals with Trump loyalist. They control the most powerful military in the world. Democrats are failing to alert America to the need. Do you like Democrats to prevent Trump from having unlimited power. Democrats of failing to generate a healthy fear of a consequences of allowing Trump to rule the United States.

      • The Democrats are not fit for this moment and have been showing how out of touch they are for years and years now. The media has enabled all this, too. And today Trump floated the idea of a third presidency, knowing they haven’t stopped him before and won’t in the future.

  3. Elon came to this country as a legal immigrant with $200 in his bank account. That is why he is hated. The left is consumed with hatred toward anything or anyone that speaks the truth about the current state of our economy (thanks to corruption by both republicans and democrats). We are on the brink of economic collapse and thankfully Elon knows how to run a fiscally responsable company. He has the experiance to clean up decades of stupid. Americans should be lining up to buy Teslas. Both Elon and Trump were originally democrats (not a fan of Trump).

I appreciate you taking the time to comment although I’m not only baffled by the fairy tale you’re telling yourself about Elon Musk but also why you think it’s a good thing to allow an unelected person to fire thousands and thousands of workers. Do you not realize that in addition to putting those people’s families in economic peril those layoffs alone will help crash the economy? While there’s so much more I could say here, I’ll end with this: I’m not sure how old you are, but I’m sincerely wishing you good luck with your Social Security benefits.

  4. The 37 trillion dollar national debt and 2 trillion dollar anual budget deficit is not a fairy tale. It is the pending total collapse of the US economy and thereby the world economy. That would cause immense suffering for more than just the US. The cost of downsizing government bloat/waste/fraud/corrumption including the unfortunate job losses of some government employees is the only possible solution. Imagine the possitive consequence if 1/3 of government employees moved to the private sector. Contributing to the economy. The US will begin to prosper again. Regarding Social Security; It’s a ponzie scheme. It would be foolish for me to plan my life around receiving it. If I could have put my contributions into the S&P 500, I would have quite the nest egg by now. With declining birth rates combined with our national debt, it will eventually be impossible to fund. If the US can pay off the national debt and keep a balanced budget, than Social Security has a chance to survive. I want everyone to thrive. The government really needs to be as accountable as any business, family, or indivitual needs to be accountable. There is always negative consequece for poor management. Also, Elon doesn’t have authority to fire government employees. He can only make recomendations to the Federal Agencies he is auditing. He has lost a sizable amount of his personal wealth in an effort to clean up the finacial mess our government is in. It is in no ones best interest if our country fails. I support fiscal transparancy. I’m not against job producing (tax revenue producing) private industry. I’m grateful hard working americans that risk their own capital to create jobs and oportunities for the rest of us. I wish you the best! 🙂
