Thankful

It’s been a wild ride the past few days but emotions have calmed and personalities have stopped clashing, at least for this moment.  And for that, I am thankful.

Wishing all of you a calm and peaceful Thanksgiving.

  1. I’m glad it’s calm right now — for us, as well 🙂 The kids are downstairs, DH is in his home office, and I’m all by myself listening to Barbie sing (kind of creepy, actually) on the Macy’s parade.
    Hope your day is lovely throughout — and the sun just came out!

    • We had a nice day out in Parker (where it’s not solid housing) with Zippy’s family. Took a walk around the neighborhood and saw a fox and a rabbit and geese… Very much appreciated that sunshine on my face, too.

  3. Aw, Tracy…just look into those loving little creatures’ eyes. They’re adorable, and most assuredly innocent of all charges. 😉

    • They were definitely not the problem which is not to say they aren’t sometimes mixed up in the chaos. Ahem.
      We did have a very nice day, Melodye, and I hope you did the same with your catered meal (smart woman!). Thank you for being my friend, too.

    • Aren’t they cute? They’re such a pair and so devoted to each other. We adopted them at the same time and we wonder if they were together before they came to us.

      (In all the angst, I couldn’t get back to you about the insurance issue. I’m sorry to say I don’t have any insights on that but my guess is you’re worrying for nothing).

  8. Great picture! But hearing about all these emotions clashing reminds me that we will be a one dog family until we can get two dogs at the same time that want to stay together.

    • Family Wild Ride! I like it! When you put it that way, it sounds more exciting than upsetting.
      We had a very nice Thanksgiving and hope you did, too. Coco and Zoey return the licks and leans to Shelby and Tucker.
