I’ve already posted a suggestion for using waxed paper bags for lunches rather than plastic bags. But there’s an even greener alternative: cereal box liners!
(Photobucket isn’t cooperating tonight so I apologize for the mammoth image and ask your forgiveness for any dreams in which you are chased by an enormous sandwich. Or countertop).
.
From http://www.dreammoods.com ~ To see a sandwich in your dream suggests that a lot of pressure and stress is being put on you. It also reflects your ability to do two things at once. However, sometimes a sandwich is just a sandwich.
Just in case, I think I’ll stay up tonight. Thanks, Tracy π

Oh Susan, that is funny!
Good suggestion, Tracy. And by the way, it looks like a normal sized photo to me–whew–I won’t need to stay up to avoid nightmares.

The photo looked normal to me, too, Tracy. And I do like your suggestion. But I had weird dreams last night. The last thing I need is a giant sandwich chasing me across a counter tonight π

Okay, weird stuff again. My “Reply to this” comments jumping across the page. Apologies to whomever is getting all my attempts in their email.
Yikes. My LJ is possessed by a sandwich demon!!!!!

There’s something odd going on here: the sandwich shrunk.

I have nightmares about the sandwiches my brother used to pack for us girls — gov’t cheese, smothered in ketchup, between two slices of green-tinged bread. Blech. I could have overlooked even the moldy stuff, if he hadn’t wrapped them in waxed paper and sealed ’em with masking tape. Horrifying, when everyone else was carrying Huckleberry Hound lunchboxes. Ah, the pain we endure in our youth… π
For the record, I think the cereal wrapping’s a great idea. Maybe the Cheerio crumbs would add flavor and texture to the sandwich.

Masking tape? That does seem a bit ominous for the sandwich world.
And yes, added texture is often just what is needed. At least, that’s what I tell the boys.

I love this! Hope you didn’t see any sandwiches last night but in case you did, I hope they were tasty!
