Friday Five

I’ve never done one of these posts but

1)  since my head continues to feel like a mucus-filled sponge

2)  and I still can’t concentrate on my WIP despite the appalling lack of progress because of the aforementioned mucus

3)  not to mention the fact that the refurbished Dell laptop I bought eight months ago on ebay died a quiet death on Wednesday

4)  which, by the way, is starting to feel like a sign from the universe to cut out my time-wasting Solitaire addiction already,

5)  I’m stopping by to wish everyone a wonderful weekend complete with clear lungs and pristine nasal passages.

    • RIP – I like that. Maybe they’re hanging out together in computer heaven.
I’m doing better today and actually went running with my training group without barfing up a lung!
Thanks for the good thoughts, Robin. Hope you’re having a good day, too.

    • Possibly a little too graphic for a Friday Five? Could be the boy influence in this household. Boogers!!! (excuse me…..)
I’m feeling much better today and was able to run this morning for the first time in over a week. Hooray!
How are you doing? Growing and changing? Burgeoning and blossoming?

    • Thank you for sending your good wishes. I’m feeling better today and ran for the first time since the flu descended ten days ago. And the computer is a disappointment but Zippy’s co-worker was able to remove the hard drive and copy my files! Yippee!

May I recommend watching some writing-related movies this weekend? That way you can feel productive without leaving your couch or dealing with a laptop:
    Capote
    Stranger Than Fiction
    Adaptation
    Misery
    Wonder Boys

    • What a great idea and wonderful movie suggestions. I’ve seen (and loved) all except Capote. I was just talking about it last weekend because I love PSH and knew I had to see this.
I’m happy to report that I’m feeling better and was able to run for the first time since the plague hit me ten days ago!
