Today I continued with my final pages.
I worked and worked.
Took a break to eat and then worked some more.
I’m getting my writing muscles back.
I don’t get out of breath so easily.
My thinking remains lucid for longer periods.
Today I didn’t feel quite like a marathoner
but a half-marathoner
maybe.
Yay Tracy!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Laura. I know you’ve been building your endurance, too. I like these new muscles.

congrats on finishing the race! Don’t forget to enjoy the scenery along the way… 🙂

It’s funny you say that about enjoying the scenery along the way because I was thinking how much I love this stage. I’m no longer flailing and panicked but can really start shaping and molding what I already have. Heaven!

Oops. Maybe I spoke too soon. Moments of angst and panic this afternoon. Fortunately, I got a little perspective and am thinking I’ll pull through. (wiping sweat from my brow….)

Oh, that’s the perfect icon. I tried getting one off photobucket but apparently I was sleepwalking or something, and changed my password. Now I can’t get in. But yours is just what I needed. Thanks!

Um, I don’t think you need a coach, little missy. But I’m happy to shout encouragement from the roadside: Go, Jennifer, go! Write, Jennifer, write!

Such a great metaphor, Tracy! I’m so glad to read about your very real (and not just figurative) success.
I was sidelined by a weeklong visitor. But then…not really. We’ve had some lovely tea-time talks about my project. (Remember our conversation about chrononogical storytelling? I’m intrigued by an organizational suggestion she had!)

Ooh, you’ll have to let me know about the organizational suggestion. When you get a chance, drop me a line.
Thanks for the support on my progress, M. Always greatly appreciated.
