- Good news: Zebu’s nose is not broken (despite getting elbowed while playing basketball).
- More good news: Zippy goes in this afternoon for his second stress test to adjust his target heart rate and blood pressure.
- It’s official: My zombie-like cold symptoms are in the past (ht to C.K. who suffered her own never-ending zombie illness this winter).
- Were you aware that Z-therapy is a form of psychotherapy in which the patient is forced by a group of people into a cathartic release of pent-up emotions? But when the group of people is made up of three household males who insist on stacking dirty dishes on the counter above the dishwasher, does the ensuing
shriekingcathartic release truly qualify as psychotherapy? - This is the result of Zippy hearing a whoo-whoo outside the window in the early morning but realizing too late the zoom lens wasn’t mounted on the camera:

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.
Ack! I think your z-therapy is definitely you making lemonade out of some z-lemons! (Man, they’re so lucky to have you — I can’t wait until the younger Z and W realize it!).

You’re kind to think they’re lucky to have me; there are plenty of days when I agree with their assessment. Thanks for your vote of confidence, Robin.

OMG! Is that a great horned owl? How cool is that?!? I am so jealous!

Actually, there were two. But when I tried cropping one of those photos, they were really out of focus (so you can imagine how bad). Zippy ran to get the zoom lens but they were gone when he got back.

Whoo?
Even fuzzy, that’s some picture!
Lots of good news there.

I knew you’d hear the call and come look, Barb! And yes, lots of good news in there.

Owl! I’ve never seen an owl outside, though I’ve heard them.
Poor Zebu!

Do you hear them often? We’ve only had them around a few times so this was a real treat. A bonus for Zippy who gets up the earliest.
I think Zebu is feeling better just knowing his poor snout isn’t cracked.

Ha! As soon as I saw that owl picture, I thought about Barb. 🙂
Glad for all the good news, Tracy, but grrr about the Z-Therapy. It’s as if they don’t give a hoot sometimes, isn’t it?

Maybe it WAS Barb. Hmm.
The Z-Therapy isn’t a big deal at the moment; I was looking through the Zs in my dictionary to find something for the list. (Of course, now that I said that, Z-Therapy is going to roar into my life with a vengeance.)

Happy to hear that you’re feeling better (zombie sickness sucks!!) but that Z-therapy sounds a little dodgy. I recommend you try your own reverse Z-therapy on the dish stackers, you know, just to test it out…

The Z-therapy doesn’t feel all that current right now. I discovered it while trolling the Z section of the dictionary, and it rang some bells.
Hope you’re all better now, too.
