wrote about her run today
and inspired me to get off my butt
so I could also enjoy the relatively balmy December temps.
She included a fun post-run pic so I’m doing the same.
And if any of you are experiencing the almost-winter blahs,
I highly recommend a brisk run around the neighborhood.
You, too, could experience this kind of high!
(And WTF with LJ formatting?!)
I only walked and no high, but some fuzz cleared out of my head, which can happen when it’s in the sub zero temps.
Maybe I just need to do the thumb thing?

Sub zero temps? That’s just wrong. You’re awesome for getting out in that weather and I’m glad some fuzz cleared from your head (unless you needed that fuzz for insulation).
Thumbs-up to you!

Hey, it’s fun to see you. But where are your clouds?

Thanks for inspiring me. Are you inquiring after my planetary clouds? They’re there but are obscured by the endorphins.

You make me smile. But it’s 18 degrees here, so I think I’ll stay inside.

Absolutely stay inside. Or, at the very most, walk. While wearing a mask. I would not run in that weather because my lungs would burn. It was in the high 40s yesterday (I think) and my lungs still burned afterward.

Love it 🙂

Not out on the trails, mind you. Still too wet!

Wow! You look so alive that it’s almost enough to break my end-of-day stupor and get me out walking. (But given the weather, probably only as far as the cookie jar and back.)

Let’s be honest: I look crazy-alive in that pic. But it’s worth it if I got you to the cookie jar and back!
