We’re All Bird Brains

Working hard on BIRD BRAIN
and feeling good about making progress.

The cool thing about this project
is that most anytime I look out the window,
I see my inspiration.

These Grackles visited me almost a year ago
but they still make me smile.

I might have to take a break and belly up to the feeder for a snack (or two).

  1. They look like they’re about to start a conversation with you! I saw lots of magpies while I was in Ireland which was neat because we don’t have them here.

Glad to here you’re making good progress!

    • Welcome back, Carolyn! Glad you saw magpies in Ireland since they’re one of the most beautiful birds, ever. I see lots when I’m out running the trails but not so much in the neighborhood lately.

  2. a question from one Bird Brain to another

Can your grackles tell the time? M used to be able to set his clock by a blue jay who would come for breakfast at exactly 8:00 am every day at a house he lived in in the 60s.

I don’t think these grackles would make good watches. They’re very sporadic in their visits. But that’s cool about the jay coming at 8:00 every morning. Hope he brought muffins or something!

    • It was great seeing you, too. By the way, you look so healthy and happy. Beautiful.

I appreciate your good thoughts, Robin. I am doing well with the revisions, and have a brighter outlook.
