Surely there is something in the unruffled calm of nature that overawes our little anxieties and doubts: the sight of the deep-blue sky, and the clustering stars above, seem to impart a quiet to the mind.

Belated thanks, Mara. I’m happy to report I had an exceptionally nice Sunday in nature with some friends visiting from Colorado. All was wonderful until I returned home and checked into political reality to watch the Democrats completely shit on working people. Absolutely grotesque kabuki theater. Anyway, hope your day was good! π
I couldn’t agree more, Tracy. The duopoly needs to go. But, glad you were able to enjoy most of your day outside with friends. Solidarity across the miles! π
We watched each other a long 30 seconds or so. Deer are very common around here and while this one was seen off the trail while I was walking, I’ve had to stop my runs to give them time/space to move off the trail. It’s pretty wonderful, actually.
Thanks for sharing some sanity, Tracy. Wishing you a peaceful Sunday in your beautiful land across the miles.
