My vow to utilize this site on a regular basis–both by writing here and interacting with my WordPress friends– has obviously fallen by the wayside and today’s post is merely a documentation of the blooms in the vast garden we inherited a year ago, but it’s a step in the right direction on this anxiety-ridden day. These photos were taken two days ago and I hope the little glimpses of beauty brighten your day.
And last but not least, here is some red chard planted by Zippy. We have a friend we used to split a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) share with and when we received LOTS of chard he’d then designate it “a chardy day,” and ever since, our texts always include “wishing you a chardy day!”
In honor of Dave, I want to wish everyone here a chardy day! And may this week be filled with beauty, joy, friendship, and bird song.

Me ha gustado tu entrada. En algun rincón de mí, me ha tocado profundo. Te mando un abrazo fuerte desde argentina!

Your photos lifted my dark mental clouds. Spring has a way of doing that. Thanks, Tracy. Have a chardy day to you!

I’m so glad these images brightened the mood, Mara. Dark days, indeed, so we need the glimpses of joy wherever we can find them. I hope you’re finding refuge in your garden.

I have fallen off the WP resolution wagon many a time … we all do our best!!!
Your blooms have made me smile.
Chard is one of my favourite vegetables. Unfortunately, so difficult to find in Singapore. May I enviously wish you a chardy day?!!

I appreciate your understanding re the WP resolution wagon, Ju-Lyn! Glad the blooms made you smile. And, of course, I welcome your chardy day greeting + wish you also had access in Singapore. 🙂

One of the joys and delights of this space and community, Tracy, that I get to vicariously enjoy things which may not be so easy to access. It is ok not to have everything all the time. Makes it all the more special when it does happen.
