Shrub running amok,
an aggressive takeover.
The elegant brute.

Arachnid actor
unlucky on stage and screen
broke a leg out there.

The fall equinox
leaves losing hold of their green.
Soon, naked branches.

Calm and still mantis,
passerbys oblivious.
Heads are devoured.

Rain makes green grasses,
lush suburban lawn.
Fungi invasion.

A rabbit at rest
eyes looking to the future
escape route all mapped.
