Yesterday was 78 degrees but the weather people said today’s high would be 47 with snow/rain later. I realized I should get a photo of these brand-new daffodils before the snow got them. Sure enough, when I was out snapping pics a gust of wind blew in and the snow began to fall.
How are they liking the snow? Yeesh…it’s more like last-chance winter today, huh? π

We hope it’s the last-chance winter! At least, I do.
So your question inspired me to go out and snap some photos of them in the snow but photobucket and LJ seem to hate me these days. Not only won’t photobucket accept my resizing (apologies for the enormous image) but LJ won’t let me insert another image (not even when I tried it as a separate post). Grr.

I have those days too…it’s like they gang up together to make everything I want to do impossible. Grrr, indeed!!

The weather has been downright mean.
Furthermore, I have a feeling we’re in for a boiling summer.

Boiling summer? Yikes. Maybe I should go outside and roll around in the snow as preparation for that.

Poor, sunny daffodils. I hope they’re hardy enough to survive.
Weird weather everywhere, it seems. Our temps were in the mid-90s for several days, and now they’ve plunged to the low 70s.
Oh, almost forgot: Hell froze over in Washington today — Bush shifted his stance on Global Warming. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/04/16/bush.climate.ap/index.html
