Almost Over

It’s after 5:00 pm in Washington, D.C. 
Monday is a national holiday. 
The clock has run out on 99.9% of the Bush administration.
We survived.

  1. I thought at first that he followed that with “We must never stop thinking about how best to offend our country,” but two replays proves he actually said “defend”. Still, I think he succeeded in living up to my mishearing.
