Zippy and I went out this afternoon and ran along the Highline Canal.
We wanted flat and not-muddy.
We wanted a trail that would allow us to run a long ways.
That’s exactly what we got.
We did Galloway method:
5 minutes running and 1 minute walking.
For 7.5 miles.
I’m definitely feeling my age right now.
zippy’s such a cute name!

My mate likes Zippy the Pinhead (don’t ask me why) and chose that name for his blog-dentity. Glad you like it!

That looks like a wonderful trail! But yikes, 7.5 miles is a loooooong way. Yay for you and Zippy going for it all!

It was so beautiful yesterday, carpeted in fallen leaves and the sun shining down on us. The scenery definitely makes it easier to keep on going.

Good for you, but I feel your aching bones!

Yoga helped loosen me up this morning so I’m feeling better. But no running today, just hooping!

I’m not sure I can run for five minutes in a row (if it’s not downhill, I mean) 😉

You can certainly run five minutes in a row, Robin. Want me to run along behind, calling out encouragement?
