Come on, fellow procrastinators, you know you want to…
You know, I was a day early. My little room for writing was not visited once. I spent Hours online. My plans for today are different. However, I’d love to join your Procrastinators Club. 😉

I’m hoping you got some good working time in yesterday. I actually did, too, after playing with the photo software and dusting and vacuuming and doing some laundry. Bonus: cleaner house and progress on the revisions!

Yesterday was my procrastinating day. Today I wrote up some detailed character sketches so that I could move forward, and I realized that I was missing some key motivation for some of them. Hmmm, tell me about this software…

Birds! Of a feather! *happy sighs* They’re so cheery, aren’t they? Thanks for allowing us a place to procrastinate, er, perch. I’ve been feeling a little under the weather of late, so I’m glad for the opportunity to hang with my LJ flock.

Melodye, I hope you’re feeling better. I’m struggling lately, too, and know how demoralizing that can be when you’re not feeling 100%. So perch as long as you like, you’re among friends here, and then get back to it when you’re ready.
Here’s a feathered hug…

I’m sorry, Lorraine, but I know you have a goal of finishing your draft by this summer so I am not going to divulge that secret Procrastinator info. I apologize for teasing you with it. 🙂

Yeah, I did some playing today…and I might still be playing 😉

“might still be playing”? That made me laugh. But the question is, did you play with your photo software? That exposure stuff is addictive.

I like to play on Picnik, and it’s definitely a time-suck (though a fun one) 😉

I’m sorry to hear that, Susan. Maybe your outreach work drained your energy to the point you need time to refuel? I know how frustrating and depressing it can be to feel you’re not moving ahead, and even though I’m not the best about remembering this, sometimes the kindest thing to do for ourselves is just be. Without expectations.
I wish you a wonderful weekend filled with moments of quiet and introspection and refilling of wells.

Thank you, Tracy. Yes, I am always quite drained once I finish the outreach sessions. Time to refill the well.

Thank you, Tracy. A little too much doggie excitement on Easter but otherwise, a nice weekend. Hope yours was too!
