AGNES by Tony Cochran
It’s scary warm here,
and winter feels very far-off.
Can’t believe I’m saying this:
We need snow (although I’d settle for rain).
Anything would be better than this rotting corpse of fall.

We’ve been getting wave after wave of snow. Waaay to early for this time of year. I’d be happy to share.

I’d happily take some of your snowy burden. It freaks me out having these warm temps.
Send it on over!

oh, no thank you. I will take the rotting corpse of fall for as long as I can get it… snow in February is soon enough.

I hear you. Definitely. It’s just that it feels WRONG to not have any snow yet. Too dry. Too windy. Too brown.
But I totally get Too Long, also.

It gets cold here at night but we need moisture! It’s brown and dry and nasty. Sorta like a rotting corpse.

slurpees with no flavor, isn’t that just ice? Does ice have a smell?

Ice can be exceedingly aromatic. Or not.
I dunno.
