A gorgeous winter vision! My husband just said there are robins hanging out on the tree right outside our window. I didn’t think robins hung around up here during the winter. Maybe they’re special Christmas robins!

Special Christmas robins! YES! I’m grateful we have some birds hanging out throughout the year; winter would be extra long and difficult without birds.

That little bird is a male House Finch. (Had to check my Sibley to make sure it wasn’t a Cassin’s Finch.) š

That little bird was on the branch while others flew in and out of the feeder. His quiet was a contrast to all the other activity.
