Yes, I used the "m" word despite the fact many, many people cannot stand that word.
I like it.
Moist.
It’s fun to say.
Try it.
Moist.
It rained all night and it’s still raining.

You know, rain? The moist stuff that falls from the clouds?
I hope your day is filled with the weather of your choice,
and contains only words that bring you great joy.
I like moist as in brownies, but not as in, say, armpits.
Hope you have a good day, too!

But what if the brownies are tucked away in the armpit until ready to eat?
Okay, forget I even said that.
Happy Monday, Kelly!!

Now that is an awesome association with “moist.” I love it.
Thank you for the good wishes, Melodye. It’s a Monday, all right. 🙂

I love the rain. But here today it is already hot. I had to turn on the AC at 8:30

I’m a couple days behind, Susan, but I’m hoping your weather has chilled a bit and that you didn’t have to crank the AC quite so early today.
(We’re hot, hot, hot here today).

Funny you should mention this. I just went and turned the AC down a little lower.

I have no idea why so many people hate that word, but they do. I grew up watching Duncan Hines commercials where they always used “moist” to describe luscious chocolate cake, so I have pleasant associations!

That’s right….Duncan Hines was big on the moist. I can see the fork sinking into the chocolaty moistness. Yum.

Oh, yeah, that silver fork into that rich brown cake with the big frosting swirls! Classic!
