I received an email from my birdseed supplier the other day
with an offer for a suet cage that prevents European Starlings
and other large birds from eating the suet.

We have a couple of suet cages, but we can’t seem to get the birds to give it a try 😉

I was thinking that’s weird the birds aren’t coming to your suet cages but then I remembered you have an outside cat, right? They’re probably being smart and staying away.

HA! I draw the line at rats and cockroaches and mosquitoes.
I had the gift of seeing several flocks of starlings yesterday. One came wheeling by while I was running on the treadmill and I temporarily lost my balance because I was so intrigued. Oops!
