I've been missing in action and so wanted to pop in with a quick birdie greeting:
Hope all is well with my friends, both feathered and non-feathered.
(* And now I have the song in my head:
Please don't be long, please don't you be very long . . .)
Lovely 😉 I hope your spring break is going well!

I’m WAY late with this response! We had a very nice spring break and I hope you did, too. Wildebeest said this morning’s snow was perfect because it coincided with going back to the dreaded school schedule. He did lots of skating over break.

Sorry for the delay in responding, Barbara. This is a Western Scrub Jay. Isn’t it a beauty?

I’m glad you’re doing well, Anabel. I’ve been missing around here, I know. We’re all fine here although today we have snow which is weird because two days ago it was about 80 degrees. That’s Colorado weather, though.

Waving back. And thanks for the birds. It’s been warm enough here that I think bears could come out, so we have to stop stocking the feeder then. I do miss the birds! But there are daffodils…

My mom can’t have feeders at her place in the mountains, either, because of bears. Our biggest “problem” is the squirrel issue. HA.
Daffodils are always welcome. (We have snow today and the brave little daffodils and tulips are poking through the white).

That’s not a bad song to have in your head. And now that I’m posting to a March entry all the way into April, I suspect that song that has made its way back to Blue Jay Way has come back.
Yeah, you could say I told the song to “Get Back!”
There. Now you have a choice.

You’re right about the nutty, restless and creative stuff right now. I got cerebral whiplash following you around on this one. HA!
