It’s Sunday evening.
It’s February.
And it’s cold, gray, and snowing.
The entire landscape appears to be either dead or frozen.
I realize it’s best to live in the moment, fully embracing the “now,” but honestly? I’m not at all in the mood for that here’s-the-best-way-to-stay emotionally-healthy nonsense.
Right now my “now” is all about looking ahead to the vibrant warmth of my garden in bloom.
I think that it’s a good idea to try and appreciate the “now,” but to also have tangible things to look forward to and anticipate!

I can smell the sweet fragrance now!

I hope so, because that portion of the garden is now buried under another (much-needed) six inches of snow!

We received 4 inches Saturday and they are forecasting 5 to 8 more inches Tuesday night….Yikes!

Well, that’s a whole lotta snow! Keep warm and dream of the flowers that are gonna bloom as a result of all that moisture. 🙂
