I agree with the No Bicycles and admit to a bias against mountain bikes. I don’t like how they tear up trails and I don’t like nearly being run over (as I was this morning while running on the open space trails), but I’m torn about the hang gliding. I guess it would be really awful to have one crash down on me and/or crash down and destroy the landscape. That sign really got us thinking as we hiked.
When I worked for Parks &Recreation I had to revise the rules at one of our parks to ban Float Planes from Landing or Takeoff at our Swimming beach. Because yeah, that happened. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
Hmm. What an interesting sign. Restrictions on hang gliders and bicycles? I don’t often see both of those using the same lanes of travel.
