Hi Mark! It does look a bit Halloween-ish, but is actually a house we passed while driving through wildfire smoke earlier this summer. I took it from the van as we passed which accounts for the slight tilt. The smoke adds an eerie touch.
Reminds me a bit of the haunted house in the show Pit Pony. Its a two season series set in the turn of the century in Nova Scotia. I happened to catch it on Netflixs and I just really loved it and found the dvds. I highly recommend it. Its so unique and refreshing. As a writer I’m particularly fond of the importance of place when telling a story.
