Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for:

  • My home that is warm while outside, much-needed snow is falling. Take that, extreme drought!
  • A feeling of buoyancy as I return to a new project idea I began outlining in Scrivener last month.
  • Twenty minutes of joyful hoop-dancing that brings me closer to the year-end goal of 24+ hours of hoop-dancing in 2022.
  • My weird friend, Marcel, who greeted me with this stare when I walked into Zippy’s office a couple days ago.

  • Anyone who took the time to read this post. 🌻

  1. Tracy, those are all wonderful and exciting things to be thankful for!
What a beautiful vision Marcel is at the window – he’s like a fluffy, white angel. 😀

  2. Aww, glad to know that you’re thankful for me being here today 😛

How do you outline in Scrivener, btw? Do you write it on one page? Or do you lay out the chapters in the binder, each with their descriptions?

    • I misspoke with “outline.” Right now I’m in the gathering research stage and am creating folders and links for that. I do have some character templates I use later on in the process. I also have folders for one-line pitch, one paragraph pitch, synopsis, etc., so I will eventually have some (never manage to complete all of them) figured out. More often than not, my enthusiasm takes over and I just start writing.

How about you? Do you use Scrivener?
