This is Emma after an enthusiast frolic in the snow next to the trail around Jefferson Lake last Monday.
We’re headed out now for another hike, this time in Golden Gate Canyon State Park, and I’m hoping for Emma’s sake that there’s more snow in her near future. 🙂

Love it! We’re in winter in Australia right now and it still doesn’t get cold enough to snow except on a very few high mountains – I can’t even begin to imagine how my dogs would handle it!

Hi Linda. Thank you for sharing your Australian experience. It makes me smile thinking of your dogs encountering a bunch of snow in the middle of an otherwise dry forest. We didn’t see any snow on this last hike but there was water for our dog to splash in.
