   • That’s because they ARE everywhere. I’ll catch a glimpse of movement off to the side. But when I look, the knee-high, bearded figure will have disappeared.

   • Yep, you popped into my head as soon as I read that clue. Not because I think knee-high, bearded figure = Kelly. But you already knew that.
     One of my favorite movie scenes ever is the gnome scene in The Full Monty. Hysterical.
