It really wasn’t too cold yesterday. And this morning it’s snowing again (still) but the robins were chirping in the tree. Zebu and I refilled the feeder so they’re good to go.
I love these pictures! If I could think of a safe place to put a bird feeder, I’d so do it (right now, the problem is the wind, which blows everything away).
Aargh, the wind. I know about the wind. Our little feeder is more exposed and that one can swing in the wind. But I’m so happy to have them; I’m always looking out the window to see what’s happening out there.
Oh Tracy, those birds are gorgeous!! I don’t know how you manage such incredible close-ups, but I feel privileged to see them. Your photos brighten my day.
Snow, though…not so much. Brrrr. *sends you sunshiney thoughts*
I’m glad you like the photos. Zippy spoiled me by finding a great digital SLR camera and zoom lens on eBay. That’s how I can get good pics although yesterday was a challenge for focusing because of the falling snow and tree branches, etc. I took a bunch of a gorgeous stellars jay but they weren’t in focus.
We could use some sunshine. We got at least 18 inches yesterday and it’s falling again now. But we really need the moisture so it’s okay.

Great photos Tracy! Yup we had ‘Poor man’s fertilizer’ (April snow) here too, but nowhere near 18 inches.

We ended up with about two feet of snow. And then it melted within days. Colorado is crazy that way.
Glad you liked the bird photos.
