1) One of the very best ways to strengthen a relationship is to share some laughter. And maybe a beer or two.
2) You should floss only the teeth you want to keep.
3) In order to maintain yoga focus, it’s best to first intervene with the flicker that’s drumming his sturdy beak against the aluminum rain gutter.
4) The best kind of pen to write with is the one you actually pick up and use.
5) I know you are, but what am I?
Wishing everyone a glorious weekend filled with thoughts that come from the deeper end of the pool than these!

#2 — LOL!!
Love the flicker, love the thoughts (um, and I love the flicker because he’s there, not here, hehe).

I got #2 from a former boss who’s son was a dentist. It’s a good one, huh?
I just gave the flicker your address so he should be there shortly…

I’m still swimming in the shallow end…need more coffee before I can think deep thoughts! But I’ll take a stab (with a dull knife) at a couple of yours:
#3: Perhaps the flicker is there to teach you something about detachment?
#5 You are not me?
Wishing you a fabulous weekend, too, Tracy! ((HUGS))

Detachment? Me?
Really? You are not me?!
Okay, now I’m being silly. And I have no excuse since I’ve quaffed a bucket of coffee already.
Hope you’re having a glorious day!

I love Jack Handey! In fact, you inspired me to look for the book and now I shall share a couple of his deep thoughts:
When you go for a job interview, I think a good thing to ask is if they ever press charges.
If you go parachuting, and your parachute doesn’t open, and your friends are all watching you fall, I think a funny gag would be to pretend you were swimming.
And my all-time favorite:
Anytime I see something screech across a room and latch onto someone’s neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off, I have to laugh, because what IS that thing?
Okay, I’ll stop. 🙂

You always have the best pictures. I love them.
Great list. Especially the pen and the laughter. However, not a big beer fan. But I LOVE to laugh.

I’m glad you like my photos because I love sharing. This pic is from a while back so not sure if he’s the guy who’s been going nuts on the rain gutters.
Me, too: I love to laugh! Hope you’re laughing lots this weekend.
