Haiku for Tuesday

Apologies to my poet friends,
but I needed to get this off my chest. . .

Wind makes me crazy
    anxious, screaming-out-loud nuts
         so stop already!

Feel free to leave your own wind-inspired haiku in the comments.
The crabbier the better.

This is so good, Barb! I love it! Title and all. 🙂

I have to say, though, that now that I know why the flickers pound on the metal, the sound is much easier to take. When I hear it, I smile and say “Love is in the air.”

I felt no love with this wind today (that’s still blowing, by the way!!!)

    • Uh-oh. D sending you underground these days? That’s no fun. And yes, this howling and raging wind does remind me of teens.

I hope my wind soon abates and that your teen soon calms. Thank you for sharing with me, Lorraine. 🙂

    • I thought the lights flickered at one point today and I thought, “Here we go!” But so far, so good. I won’t wish my wind in your direction, Karen. But I will wish for it to stop already!!!!

  1. I could write a haiku, but the wind has blown all my coherent thoughts away! Dang — I wish it could get warmer around here without the wind coming into play :/.

    • I know what you mean about the coherent thoughts. It’s so annoying. I put on my black (to soak up heat) winter jacket and went out onto the deck thinking I could get a little Vit D and improve my attitude, but it’s too damned windy and cold. Grrr…..
