  2. I love Huskies and Malamutes! Huskies are especially dramatic and talkative. I used to be a Vet Receptionist at one point in my life and there was this husky that always sounded like it was being murdered every time it came in to get its nails trimmed. Another funny story, this guy was yelling at me because he thought we charged too much for anal gland expression, so I said the Vet tech would be happy to show you how to do it so you could do it at home. He comes out of the room afterwards red-faced and looked at me and said, “You’re not charging enough! I would pay double to have you guys keep doing that instead of me! Hahaha. Years of domestication has made it hard for some dog breeds to express their anal glands naturally. Sometimes dogs can do it themselves by rubbing their butt on the carpet.
