on the bright side:
At least you’re not living in a drought-affected area.

The thing is, we’re usually semi-arid. Other parts of the state are still very dry but we’re getting hit. It’s hailing right now. Mostly, I feel bad for my dogs who get very stressed by the thunder and lightning (I love it!) on top of those days of fireworks. I want a break for them.

Nothing gloppier than a soggy phone book. Hope the sun shows up soon for you. (It’s gray and gloomy here too.)

Actually, when I posted my little lament, the sky was blue and the sun was shining. But it’s raining and hailing right now and I’ve about had enough. My dogs are nervous wrecks from all the storms (that followed days of fireworks in the beginning of the month). I’m just a whiner. 🙂
Hope you get some sunshine soon, Lorraine.

HA! I would dial it if I thought it would work. 🙂

LOL. The phone book looks EXACTLY like an art piece I saw last weekend at the Shelburne Museum. But I like your title better than theirs 🙂

Wow, that’s very cool. I loved this picture as soon as I saw it. I put “soggy” in the search box on morguefiles.com and this came up. Perfect!

When I get a minute, I’m going to do a post about the other paper sculptures I saw. Very cool and very strange–and I took lots of photos.

I’m looking forward to those photos. Anything that starts with a soggy old phone book is all right by me. 🙂

Enjoying the hail right now? I’m hoping it destroys our sad, old shake shingle roof once and for all! 🙂

Send some over here! Weirdly enough, we’re short on rain in southern England.
And that is one cool photograph.

That seems to be the way. Either drought or excessive rain. I’d feel better if the moisture was shared more evenly. We’re typically a semi-arid region so this rain is odd. Lots of run-off and erosion because the ground isn’t ready to absorb so much so fast.
I agree that the wet phone book is an awesome photo!

But that doesn’t mean you can’t still sing along and/or make a joke, Jenn.
