Bird on a Wire

It's a whole new week filled with possibility.
I've got blue sky and sunshine outside, and a manuscript to revise.
Time to get to it.

How about you?

  1. We had a beautiful crisp autumn day in NY today, which I spent largely in the library. I did walk there and back, so I benefited a bit from the weather. Also, it helps my frame of mind. And I git a couple of new pages written.
What kind of bird is that? Lovely photo.

    • That sounds like the perfect day: crisp weather, library, walking, progress on the project. Good for you, Barbara!
I’m glad you like the photo. It is one of the neighborhood Northern Flickers. These are the guys who rat-a-tat on the downspouts during mating season.

  2. Well, we have had three earthquakes in the past 72 hours and a series of tornadoes in the state today. And I believe we are still under Tornado Watch…so…things are a bit apocolyptic here. I have discovered a plot hole in my story and have been trying to find a way out of it for the past three days. But tomorrow is another day. The sun will be out…and hopefully the ground will remain still.

    • WHAT?! Forgive me, I’ve been in a bit of a cave. That’s WAY too much extreme weather stuff. I’m seriously thinking you need to get the heck outta there. Yikes. I remember enjoying my first earthquake (for the novelty) when I moved to LA, but not liking them at all from that point forward.
If you haven’t already, I hope you find your way out of the plot hole. I’m in the spackle process here, too.

  3. I cheated, Jeannine. The sky wasn’t that blue here, either. But I liked the thought of all that blue sky. 🙂
Hope you’re still feeling positive about your revisions! Revise, Jeannine, revise!
