This is what I saw out my window a bit ago,
American Goldfinches against a backdrop of asters.
Now.
Can someone please explain what happened to Photobucket and
LiveJournal image insert since I last posted a photo?
It took forever to get this photo here and I’m not even sure how I finally succeeded.
Plus, I can’t resize this photo which is why it’s of the ginormous variety.
I used to feel a bit savvy about this stuff but now I’m back to feeling confused.
Sigh.

After spending about half an hour tearing my hair out, trying to post photos, I did a search and it seems something has gone bonkers with LJ and PhotoBucket. I’m giving up and trying again tomorrow – hope they have it fixed by then!

Thank you, Kate! I thought I was going insane all by my lonesome. I’m sorry you’re having a tough time, too, but at least I know it’s not just me.
Good lucky posting tomorrow!

Ah, I’ve had the same problem. I’m glad I’m not crazy. Or at least no more than usual.

Can’t help you with the photo. I can point out, however, that your picture might need an adult rating. You took a picture of that poor birds butt. π

Isn’t that the cutest little bird tush? And notice how the tail is demurely lowered just a bit.

There’s a current issue, so you haven’t lost your savvy. LJ is simply not functioning properly at present. Lovely photo!

Ahhh, birds in a bath. I love asters. Our flowers are all beginning to poop out here. Didn’t plant any sunflowers this year, alas.

I was so happy seeing them in there because I usually only see the white, smeary evidence that they were there.
Asters are swell, as are mums, but my garden is so neglected that most everything is buried by something else.
I send you a bouquet of lovely flowers…

I posted a picture in the morning via Photobucket just fine. Maybe it broke sometime during the day? Ah well. Yours is a beautiful picture that so deserves to take up as much space as it wants to. Breaking the boundaries = a good thing, at least where Mother Nature’s beauty’s concerned.

Other people were struggling, too, so I’m glad it wasn’t me who broke Photobucket.
Thanks for the reminder about breaking boundaries. π

What a lovely photo — glad you succeeded in getting it up! Also, reminds me we have asters to look forward to very soon.

I’m really glad I succeeded in loading that photo, too. Especially since I got it there once and then accidentally deleted it, so I had to go through it all over again. I was NOT going to give up.
Hope your asters bloom soon and for a long time.
